This year 2018 on December 15 Geetaji Iyengar. Gurujis' daughter left us. She took with her a piece of my heart, she also left me with a big part of hers. Every class I teach I will be channeling her, she was my Guru, my Mentor, my sister, mother and friend.

She said she would go when she finished her obligations to Guruji. Prastanji and Geetaji, both have been teaching special workshops and classes all year in memory of Gurjis 100 year anniversary, the last one ended @ 8:30pm Saturday and Sunday morning she left us. Of course, we are all heart broken.

May she always be in my heart. Geetaji I loved you.

We did lose our beloved Guruji BKS Iyengar Wednesday 20 August 2014. He is no more with us in body. He will never ever leave us in spirit. He was 96 years old.

We were all so fortunate we could have him and his teaching around for so long. He touched many lives in many different ways, every time we take out a mat, a blanket, belt, bolster, or any other prop, all came from him. We have so much to be grateful for.
